Evi Jundt

Evi Jundt will perform on

Critically acclaimed Swiss pianist Evi has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician in Europe, Canada and the United States. She received a BA of Music at the Conservatoire de Musique of Neuchâtel where she studied the piano with Paul Coker and chamber music with Gerardo Vila. Evi moved to New York City in 2001 to study the Taubman approach to piano playing with Edna Golandsky. Festival appearances include: 9. Internationalen Brüder-Grimm-Musiktage, Germany, International Festival of Contemporary Performance, New York, Ecoles d’Art Américaines de Fontainebleau, France, and Tibor Varga Summer Festival, Switzerland.

Evi has performed in master classes presented by Paul Badura-Skoda, Anatol Ugorski, Edward Aldwell, Phillippe Bianconi and Dominique Merlet. After receiving her Master’s of Music from Mannes College, Evi continues her studies in the same institution as a Professional Studies Diploma candidate in Pavlina Dokovska’s piano studio.

She is a recipient of a Mannes Graduate Scholarship Award, grants from the Swiss Benevolent Society of New York, the Schweizerische Stiftung für die Förderung und Unterstützung von Berufsmusikerinnen und Berufsmusiker and REC Music.
